Noureen DeWulf has been cast opposite Jennifer Lopez in CBS Films' romantic comedy "The Back-Up Plan."
The busy actress also will appear in two summer comedies: "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," which hits theaters Friday, and "The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard," coming out in August.
In "Plan," about a wannabe mother who meets a promising romantic prospect on the same day she undergoes artificial insemination, DeWulf will play Daphne, a hip downtown co-worker at Lopez's pet store.
Michaela Watkins and Alex O'Loughlin also star. Kate Angelo ("Will & Grace") wrote the screenplay, and Alan Poul ("Six Feet Under") is directing.
The movie will be CBS Films' first feature release and is due in theaters in January.
Principal photography begins next month in Los Angeles.
