Jennifer Lopez listed as a Conference 2008 Speaker and Participant for the upcoming Women's Conference 2008.

Actress, singer, producer, entrepreneur, Jennifer Lopez released her sixth studio album, "Brave," in October. She is a multi-platinum recording artist with three albums debuting at #1 on the Billboard charts. Past albums have included "On the Six," "J.Lo," "This Is Me... Then," "Rebirth" and "Como Ama Una Mujer." -- which topped the Billboard Latin chart nailing the #1 spot in its first week and made history with the highest sales of a Spanish album debut.


Lopez has starred in an array of box office number one's including MONSTER-IN-LAW and THE WEDDING PLANNER. She was last seen in the feature films EL CANTANTE, a drama about the life of salsa legend Hector Lavoe, and BORDERTOWN, opposite Antonio Banderas. She produced both films.


Lopez earned widespread acclaim for her work in the title role of SELENA, which brought her a Golden Globe nomination. In 2001, Lopez made history when she became the first woman to have the number one movie and number one album in the same week. THE WEDDING PLANNER was the nation's top-grossing film while her second album, "J.Lo," was number one on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. In 2002, Lopez was awarded "ShoWest Female Star of the Year" and in 2006, Lopez received the "Women in Film: Crystal Award." Additionally, the National Council of La Raza, the largest Latino advocacy group in the nation, named her "Entertainer of the Year" at the American Latino Media Arts Awards (ALMA) for TV and film.


Lopez made her feature debut in the highly acclaimed feature MI FAMILIA, garnering an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role as the young mother ‘Maria Sanchez.' Her other film credits include Lasse Hallstrom's AN UNFINISHED LIFE, with Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman; Oliver Stone's U-TURN; MAID IN MANHATTAN, co-starring Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, Bob Hoskins and Natasha Richardson; MONEY TRAIN with Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes; Francis Ford Coppola's JACK with Robin Williams; BLOOD AND WINE opposite Jack Nicholson; Luis Mandoki's ANGEL EYES; THE CELL; Steven Soderbergh's OUT OF SIGHT, with George Clooney; Michael Apted's thriller ENOUGH; and ANACONDA with Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz and Ice Cube. Via Nuyorican Lopez made her foray into the role as Television Producer with her dance-reality show for MTV entitled "Dance Life" as well as the UPN drama, "South Beach."


At the moment Jennifer's production company, Nuyorican, is in post-production on several films and has several projects currently in development including "Ayuda" for Showtime; a sitcom based on the lives of Latina nannies in Los Angeles, "Como Ama Una Mujer;" a five-part miniseries for Univision based on Jennifer's album of the same title, "Amigas Sweet 15 Club," a television comedy that will follow five teens in Miami who run a Quinceanera (sweet 15) business, and LOVE AND OTHER IMPOSSIBLE PURSUITS; a comedy feature by Don Roos in which Lopez will star as woman struggling with a turbulent relationship with her stepson.


Lopez also heads her own successful clothing lines - JLO by Jennifer Lopez, Sweetface and justsweet - and was awarded with the ACE icon award in 2006 for contribution to accessories and the fashion industry. She will be launching a new edition to her best-selling line of fragrances in 2008.
