On January 27, 2010, it was announced that Jenifer Lopez would guest-star on an episode of How I Met Your Mother as Anita Appleby, a no-nonsense author of self-help books that teach women how to mold men into "relationship machines" through the power of denial. After Robin informs Anita of Barney's womanizing ways, Anita sets out to "break" him.
BTW, In January 2011, Jenifer Lopez released a new lead single titled "On the Floor" featuring Pitbull, it achieved worldwide success on the charts, including a top 10 debut on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Lopez her first top ten on the chart since "All I Have" in 2003. The album Love? will be released on April 19, 2011.

Fresh off two mega performances in Las Vegas and San Francisco comes news that Spears will be hosting this year's 102.7 KIIS-FM Wango Tango music fest along with Ryan Seacrest according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The star studded Los Angeles show will feature performances by Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Pitbull, Far East Movement, Jason DeRulo, Lupe Fiasco, T-Pain, New Boys, Cobra Starship and tween up-and-comer, Cody Simpson. Since his lady love is confirmed to perform, we're hoping there might be a Justin Bieber sighting at the event, too. Could we be so bold as to suggest a surprise appearance?

Jennifer Lopez arrived in Santo Domingo Friday night accompanying her husband Marc Anthony, who will perform with Chayanne tonight at the Quisqueya stadium. The couple arrived by private jet at the La Isabela International Airport, Dr. Joaquin Balaguer (El Higuero) and plan to leave the country after the concert because they left their twins Max and Emme at home.

On every episode of American Idol, the judge who talks like a thoughtful, caring mentor looks like a diva. Jennifer Lopez is always keeping her beauty looks fresh: rocking bold lips one night, dark eyes the next; she's worn her hair in a smooth bun and loose waves—of course, she always has dewy skin. We talked to the singer and reality show judge about how she gets her J. Lo glow and when she feels her most beautiful.
How do you feel about the term "J. Lo Glow" in reference to your skin? Is it nice to have your own phrase? I love that! I didn't know I had my own phrase! I love that the idea of having healthy glowing skin—that people think that of me. That's awesome.
How do you take care of your skin? I'm a big believer in the basics. Less is more. I get my cleanser from my dermatologist. I need a great cleanser because I've had to wear a lot of makeup for so many years. I use a very mild makeup remover and a very basic sunscreen-moisturizer combo, and I try to get lots of sleep.
What beauty product do you always have with you in your purse? [L'Oréal] Elnett [StrongHold Hair Spray]. Because I feel like if your hair doesn't look good, it doesn't matter how much makeup you have on.
Do you regret following any particular beauty trend when you were younger? [Laughs] No, I stand by all my awful looks!
What will you teach your daughter about beauty?That it comes from the inside; because you can be the most physically beautiful girl, but if you're not a beautiful person, that shows. So I really do teach her to love herself and to know that beauty is something that comes from the inside.
When do you feel your most beautiful? I guess when I'm on the red carpet all glammed up. I've taken a long time getting ready and I have a beautiful creation of a dress on, and a beautiful creation of a hairdo—I feel pretty spectacular in those moments.

Jennifer Lopez lines up Taio Cruz & Lil Wayne for 2nd single off “Love?”
Jennifer Lopez scored her biggest hit in years with her Pitbull-featuring, Lambada-sampling single “On the Floor.” She’s already got its follow-up ready to hit dance floors soon as well.
“I’m Into You” is set to be the second official single off Lopez’s long-awaited new album “Love?,” album, which is set to feature productions from RedOne, Tricky Stewart, and The-Dream.
She also sought out some collaborative help for the second single. It was written by singer Taio Cruz, which whom she collaborated on a remix of his smash “Dynamite.”
“You got me hooked with your love controller/ I'm tripping and I can not get over,” Lopez sings on the track.
It also features rapper Lil Wayne on the track. She recently named him as her current favorite rapper over longtime favorite Nas for his “fresh” and “unique” voice. “Plus he’s on my new single!” she said recently in a web chat.
“On the Floor,” featuring Pitbull, is currently at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Love?” is currently slated to hit stores on April 19th.
Two of music’s biggest pop stars are about to collide. Jennifer Lopez has enlisted Lady Gaga’s talents for her upcoming album.
The “Born This Way” singer wrote and produced two tracks for Lopez’s seventh effort Love?, according to RedOne. “For those who don’t know, @ladygaga Produced/Wrote with me TWO Records for @JLo, ‘Invading my Mind’ and an Other one coming SOOON!!! OMG!!!” tweeted the hitmaker, who also produced Lopez’s first single “On the Floor.”
J.Lo brings Gaga’s lyrics to life on the electro-dance record “Invading My Mind.” “It’s invading my mind and breaking the ice/ I can’t fight it, this feeling’s invading my mind/ I’m infected tonight,” she sings.
The “American Idol” judge recently revealed that her next single from Love? will likely be “I’m Into You” featuring Lil Wayne. “To me just the things he says and the way he says it is very unique, and I feel like he has a fresh new voice,” she said of Weezy.

Jennifer Lopez: 'Idol' journey is 'exhilarating'
Jennifer Lopez talks about the revitalization of her career with USA TODAY's Bill Keveney in today's paper. That includes her new album (due in April), upcoming movie projects and, of course, American Idol.
"It wasn't some grand master plan we had — it just kind of worked out that way," she says. "I was working on a record, looking at some films. The American Idol thing was offered to me months and months before. I really wasn't considering it. They came back again. Then I started thinking about it."
Jennifer has especially enjoyed working with Steven Tyler, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest, who she says are like brothers that she never had
"It's a lot of fun. Taking a journey with the contestants has also been exhilarating," she says. "I know exactly what they're feeling and their hopes and their dreams and what they want to do in that moment."

Jennifer Lopez has tackled music, movies and fashion all while raising a family, but the one arena that almost proved too much for the entertainer was reality television.
"I know I'm a passionate person and I know I'm an emotional person, I just didn't expect it to hit me in that way," JLo said of her widely-publicized emotional breakdown while judging an episode of "American Idol" in February.
As "American Idol" advanced into the Top 24, JLo shouldered the job of informing Chris Medina, 26, that he wouldn't advance in the competition. Medina's girlfriend had suffered a traumatic brain injury just two months before the couple's scheduled wedding.
"I actually cried a lot more than they showed on TV," JLo revealed.
JLo also dished on the struggle to decide whether or not to actually join the judges' panel on the famous singing competition.
"It just wasn't something that I thought was in my plans really," said JLo.
The singer had other career plans already set in motion when the show's producers approached her with the idea to join the program, including a film and another record. JLo's new song and video "On the Floor" is number one on iTunes.
JLo acknowledged that there were people around her "who tried to talk [her] out of it," but the music icon emphasized that ultimately she was the only one who could decide for her, saying, "At the end of the day, I just follow my gut."
That confidence in herself may be one of the reasons JLo's manager Benny Medina calls the singer "an international and global superstar."
L.A. Reid executive produced JLo's upcoming album Love? and after working with Rihanna and Mariah Carey amongst other notable stars, he called JLo "very special."
"American Idol" airs Wednesday and Thursday nights on FOX. JLo's new album Love? is in stores April 19.

The 'Jenny From the Block' hitmaker - who is currently appearing on the judging panel of TV show 'American Idol' - has revealed the 28-year-old rapper features on her 'I'm Into You', from her forthcoming seventh album 'Love?'.
Speaking to fans during an online chat, she explained: "My next single I believe will be a song called 'I'm Into You' and it's going to feature Lil Wayne, so look out for that. Lil Wayne is very unique and fresh. Plus he's on my single!"
The singer-and-actress scored major success in the US with her last single, 'On The Floor' - which number five in the US Billboard hot 100 chart - and recently told how she had felt "emotionally connected" to it from the first time producer RedOne played it to her.
She said: "The minute RedOne played it for me, I made him play it 20 times in a row, and I just sat there at the board and I kept listening to it and listening to it.
"Because I really feel like, emotionally, I connected to it, but also because of how much I love to dance and how much that's always been such a big part of who I am since I started."
New Jennifer Lopez Music Madonna, Sheryl Crow, J-LO, Gwyneth, Dixie Chicks Team for Every Mother Counts CD Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Lopez, Gwyneth Paltrow, The Dixie Chicks and Bruce Springsteen's wife Patti Scialfa are among the artists featured on a new compilation album that will raise money for the international relief agency CARE. The album, titled Every Mother Counts, was created as a companion to the new film No Woman, No Cry. It's a documentary that shines light on the struggles pregnant women face while trying to obtain proper health care in Tanzania, Bangladesh, Guatemala and even the United States.
The Every Mother Counts album will be available from April 12th to May 9th at participating Starbucks. For every copy sold at their stores, Starbucks will donate eight dollars to CARE to help fund its maternal health programs in coffee-growing countries. The film is scheduled to have its television debut on Oprah’s new network OWN on May 7th, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' Still Rules The Hot 100, But Jennifer Lopez Is On The Move
The Billboard Hot 100 has its first official juggernaut of 2011. After debuting in the top spot two weeks ago, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" — the first single from the forthcoming album of the same name — has notched a third week on top of the chart, with nary a legitimate challenger in sight (the number two song for the second week in a row is Cee Lo Green's "F--- You," which has been on the chart for an impressive 27 weeks and is getting a second wind thanks to its Grammy Awards exposure).
But if there is a song that could upend "Born This Way," it's Jennifer Lopez's new single "On the Floor." The track made its chart debut at number nine this week, giving Lopez the highest-charting debut of her career and her seventh top 10 hit. Certainly the exposure Lopez has received on "American Idol" (still the most-watched show on television) has boosted her profile in the music world, and the video for "On the Floor" (which premieres during Thursday night's (March 3) live broadcast of "American Idol") could give it enough of a push to unseat Gaga from the top of the chart.
Gaga's continued dominance and Lopez's big debut were the big headlines, but there were plenty of other shake-ups on the Hot 100 this week. The top 10 mostly stayed the same (Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow" and Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" dropped out to make room for Lopez and Katy Perry's "E.T.," which surged from 28 to eight over the past week). Perry wasn't the only star getting a bit boost, as both Ke$ha's "Blow" and Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" experienced great leaps ("Blow" moved from number 32 to number 11, while "Rolling in the Deep" went from 26 to 13, and both have robust digital download sales to thank for those bumps). Kanye West's "All of the Lights" also found itself in its highest spot on the chart yet, moving from 54 to 31 on the back of the premiere of the flashy video.
Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Idol’ Judging Brings Ex-Boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs To Tears
He can’t stop… he won’t stop… and he’s taking the Diddy train all the way to “American Idol.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs is heading to the hit FOX reality singing competition, where he’ll perform his latest single, “Coming Home,” as well as mentor the contestants in the ways of “swagger,” courtesy of his signature clothing line, Sean John.
“I’m helping [the contestants] with their styles. I’m helping to kind of dress them with Sean John,” Diddy revealed to Access’ Maria Menounos in an interview on Wednesday on the set of CBS drama “Hawaii Five-0,” in Oahu, where he was filming a guest spot. “I’m bringing a celebrity stylist to help us this week. We’re going try to get them to have that superstar shine and swagger that I try to exude on a daily basis.
“I’m going to hit ‘em with some musical tips, some inspiration, some motivation, and then I’m gonna show ‘em how to do it,” he added. “I’m going to hit that stage after I show ‘em how to have that swagger.”
Appearing on “Idol” will bring the music mogul face-to-face with his former flame, Jennifer Lopez, but Diddy said he’s got nothing but love for the Latina diva.
“First of all she’s just looking so good!” Diddy told Maria of his ex. “You’ve got to give it to her for having twins and to be doing it how she’s doing it. I’m so proud of her.”
Diddy also raved about J.Lo’s judging style, revealing that her loving critiques have brought the streetwise rapper to tears… twice!
“The way [Jennifer] handled coming after Simon, and even myself from ‘Making the Band,’ and the way we were hard coaches — she’s been like, a compassionate person,” Diddy told Maria. “She’s made me cry like, twice, and she’s looked good doing it. And she’s made sense so, you know, I’m proud of her.
